DHAKA: The newly appointed head coach of Bangladesh National Cricket team Englishman Richard Pybus will arrive here on Saturday evening.
Source said a flight of Emirates Airlines carrying the new coach is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the evening.
He will join Bangladesh Cricket Board on Sunday and meet people and official concerned.
Earlier on May 30, the British cricketer was appointed as the head coach of Bangladesh National Cricket team for next two years.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nizamuddin Chowdhury confirmed the matter.
Pybus will join National Cricket team as head coach as the replacement of Australian Stuart Law and he will be paid USD 20,000 per month as his salary.
Earlier on April 16, Stuart Law resigned from the post after playing his role as head coach of Bangladesh Cricket Team from June 1, 2011.
Pybus coached Pakistan`s national team twice in 1999 and 2003 while he also had stints with Titans and Cape Cobras (South Africa) and English county side Middlesex.
He was in charge of Cobras until March 2012 and had been linked to the South Africa job last year.
