CVASU introduces Fisheries Faculty

CHITTAGONG: Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) has introduced ‘Fisheries Faculty at the university.

Khalilur Rahman, Assistant Director (Public Relations and Protocol) of the university, confirmed this to banglanews on Monday.

CVASU treasurer Professor Dr Sumen Dewan has been given the additional charge of the faculty, he informed.

Some 50 students will be enrolled to the faculty from academic session 2012-2013, he added.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has already approved to recruit 18 teachers, employees and other staff for running the faculty, he further said.

With this latest addition, the CVASU now has a total of three faculties.
