New Delhi: Fast bowler Lasith Malinga, who was recently named the brand ambassador of the ICC World T20, may not play for his country if the Sri Lankan government decides to ban him.
The Lankan government is in the process of moving a motion to ban all national athletes who refuse to represent the country.
And Malinga is on their radar because he quit Test cricket last year in favour of the IPL. He also refused to renew his contract with the Sri Lanka Cricket board due to low payments.
