Student dies falling from city building

DHAKA: A college student died as he fell down from an under construction building in Sonalibagh area under Malibagh thana of city on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Toukir Ahmed Rajan, 20, a HSC 2nd year student of Khilgaon Ideal College.

Witnesses said Rajan fell down from an eight-storied under construction building of the area at about 8:30pm while talking over mobile phone.

Later, he rushed to Holy Family Hospital where died while undergoing treatment, said police source.
