Ruposhhi Bangla gets new GM

DHAKA: James P. McDonald has been appointed as new General Manager of Ruposi Bangla Hotel in the city on Tuesday.

The hotel authority disclosed it through a press release.

McDonald was the General Manager of InterContinental Regency Bahrain.

James holds a degree in hospitality management from the “North Devon Polytechnic” in the west of England, City & Guilds qualifications.

With over thirty years of hospitality experience, having held similar positions with Intercontinental Hotels Group in four continents and in fourteen countries.

Earlier on February 20, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), a leading global hotel chain, inked an agreement to take over the operations and management of Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in Dhaka.
