BARISAL: A college student was killed and two others injured in a road accident at Bakerganj Upazila Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Rezaul Karim Ziko, 20, son of Babul Haolader and student of Ramzankati Agriculture College.
Of the injured Sabuj was shifted to Dhaka for better treatment.
The accident took place as the motorcycle carrying them tumbled with speed breaker while giving side to a truck at about 9:30pm, leaving the three bikers injured.
Locals rushed them to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared Ziko dead.
Kotwali Model Thana OC Md. Shahiduzzaman said an unnatural case (UD) was filed with the police station in this connection.
