Trade at Hili Port suspended

HILI, DINAJPUR: Import-export trade between Bangladesh and India through Hili land port was suspended on Wednesday marking National Morning Day.

Bangla Hili C&F Agent Association Secretary Shahin told banglanews, “The decision was taken as per a letter from Hili Customs Assistance Commissioner.”

According to the letter, export-import operations through the land port will resume on August 16.

Hili Immigration check post officer Khaza Moddin said, “Passport holders will be allowed to move between the countries.”
