SIRAJGANJ: At least four people were killed and five others injured in a tragic road accident at Royganj upazila of the district on Monday evening.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Officer-in-Charge of Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Farid Uddin told banglanews that a Dhaka-bound rashly driven potato-laden truck plunged into a roadside ditch losing its control over steering in Chandaikona Bazar area on Bogra-Nagarbari Highway at around 7:30pm, leaving the four dead on the spot and five others injured.
The injured were sent to different hospitals and clinics of the district.
