DHAKA: Gultekin, former wife of noted soap-opera maker Humayun Ahmed, intervened family feud to bury Humayun to Nuhash Palli quickly, according to Gultekin’s relative.
The relative said, Gultekin finally got involved with her children’s disagreement and asked, “Please let not your father stuck in the Bardem mortuary.”
“Bury him (Humayun) without further delay” Gultekin ordered her children Nuhash, Nova and Shila, source said.
The source also confirmed that Humayun begged pardon to Gultekin while he went to Nuhash Palli before his operation.
Humayun talked over telephone with Gultekin through Bipasha when she was in US.
According to the source, first day Bipasha did not hand over telephone to Gultekin while Humayun wanted to talk to her. But, the second day, Gultekin talked to him.
Gultekin came to US to stay close to Humayun for his mental support to fight cancer, source assumed.
