ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY (KUSHTIA): A 35-day long Ramadan vacation in Islamic University (IU) begins Thursday.
University sources said the vacation will include holy Ramadan, Jonmashtomy, National Mourning Day, Shab-e-Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr, and death anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
All classes and examinations will resume on August 29 while administrative activities on August 28, sources added.
All residential halls of the university will be closed from July 24 and reopen on August 28.
The exams of different departments would continue until July 24, the IU sources further said.
