Fire at spinning mill in Gazipur

GAZIPUR: A fire broke out at Hanif Spinning Mill of Mowchak area under Kaliakoir upazila of the district Friday.

The fire fighters estimated the loss at Tk. 2 lakh.

Officer of Kaliakoir Fire Station Abdus Samad told banglanews that the fire originated from the dust room of the factory in the noon.

On information the fire fighters rushed there and doused the fire, he added.
