CHITTAGONG: A youth was killed in a road accident in Navy Gate area of the city on Thursday afternoon.
The identity of the deceased, aged around 24, could not be known immediately.
Chittagong Medical College Hospital Police Outpost duty Constable Waliullah told banglanews: “A bus knocked the youth down in the area around 4:00pm while he was crossing the road, leaving him critically injured.”
Later, locals rushed him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where duty doctor declared him dead.
The body was kept at CMCH morgue for autopsy.
