DHAKA: Opposition BNP Standing Committee member MK Anwar said BNP has no option for reconciliation with the government over the caretaker government issue.
The BNP leader came up with the comment while addressing a meeting held at the National Press Club in the city on Wednesday morning.
“Government proposes ‘interim government’ to perplex the people as it is a long-term maneuver of the government,” he apprehended.
He said, BNP has no option for reconciliation as people of all walks are united over non-partisan government issue.
With Jatiyatabadi Muktijuddha Prajanma adviser Ataur Rahman Atar, organization president Shahid Chowdhury, BNP Health Secretary Dr Kazi Mazharul Islam Dulon, Nirbahi Committee member Helen Zerin Khan, among others, spoke in the meeting.
