Woman killed in Noakhali train crash

NOAKHALI: A woman was crushed under the wheels of a train near Harinarayanpur Rail Station under Sadar upazila of the district Monday.

The deceased was identified as Mohsina Aktar, 25, wife of Abul Hashem of Harinarayanpur village of the upazila.

Maijdee Court Rail Station Master Shafiqur Rahman Bhuiyan told banglanews that a Sonapur-bound ‘Noakhali Express’ train from Laksham crushed her around 12:30pm while she was crossing rail track, leaving her dead on the spot.
