5 frauds held in Rajshahi

DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) of Navy held five frauds during Bangladesh Navy 2013-Batch mariner admission on Thursday.

The detainees are Aiyub Ali, Asadul Haque, Atiqur Rahman, Abdul Matin and Wahab Ali. They are residents of Rajshahi district.

Navy sources told that the frauds were trying to collect money from the candidates by forgery with them early Thursday.

Later, Navy DB detained them with Tk 2.50 lakh, cheque of Tk 9 lakh and others fake papers of admission.
