DHAKA: The Daily Destiny on behalf of Destiny Group applied to Finance Minister AMA Muhith to open the frozen accounts of the group.
Four journalists of the newspaper went to meet AMA Muhith at his office in the city Sunday but the minister didn’t meet.
Senior information officer of the ministry Shahedur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
The companies of the group whose accounts had been frozen, are Destiny 2000, Air Destiny Ltd, Destiny Electric and Electronic Industries Ltd, Destiny Multipurpose Co-operative Society Ltd, Destiny Tree Plantation Ltd, Alysha Destiny Agro Complex Ltd, Destiny Hitachi Electric Industries Ltd, Diamond Builders Ltd, Destiny Printing and Packaging Ltd, Destiny Medical College and Hospital Ltd, Destiny Printing Press, Destiny Developers Ltd, Destiny Education and Health Foundation, Destiny Agro Industries Ltd, Destiny Environment Savings Energy Ltd, Configure Engineers and Construction Co Ltd, Destiny Builders Ltd, Destiny Tea Limited, Destiny Security Force Ltd, Destiny Life Insurance Company Ltd, Configure Housing Ltd, Bondhishahi Cold Storage Ltd, Best Air Ltd, Destiny Shopping Centre Ltd, Destiny Consumer Products Ltd, Destiny Air systems Ltd, and Destiny Nihaj Jute Spinners Ltd.
