Govt real appearance reveled to foreigners: MK Anwar

DHAKA: Opposition BNP standing committee member Sunday claimed that the “real appearance” of the government has been revealed even to the foreigners.

“The senior leaders of ruling Awami League are frequently lying. They are looting thousands crore of money in the name of quick rental power plant,” he said.

The senior leader of the party came up with the assertion while addressing a protest rally held in front of central office at Naya Paltan in the city.

The BNP lawmaker claimed that there is Tk 52,000 crore deficit in the new budget of the fiscal year 2012-13 declared by the government.

“The government is saying that the budget deficit will be met through foreign debt. But, the foreign donors have seen the real appearance of the government,” he said.
