DHAKA: Liberation War Affairs State Minister AB Tajul Islam Monday said the list of rajakars and war criminals was not preserved.
The sate minister came up with the disclosure while addressing the parliament in response to a question from lawmaker Habibur Rahman.
He told the House that the list of the freedom fighters is preserved as gazette. “But, the list of rajakar and war criminals was not preserved,” he said.
AB Tajul Islam said the information of rajakars and war criminals are being got from the write-up from the researchers and historians.
In response to another question, he said, “The government has a plan to increase the allowance of freedom fighters in the next fiscal years.”
