DHAKA: The governing council of Bangladesh Climate Change Resilience Fund (BCCRF) approved six projects costing US$ 153 million to face climate change impact.
The BCCRF council has finally approved three projects out of six in principle.
The meeting was held at the secretariat with Environment and Forests Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud in the chair on Tuesday.
“We received US$170 million fund from various countries and donor agencies and 90 percent of the fund has been allocated to the six projects,” Hasan said.
