DHAKA: Jatiya Sramik League (JSL), ruling Awami League`s labour organization, has been constituted new executive committee at its triennial national council on Tuesday.
In the council, Sukkur Mahmud, Fazlul Huq Montu and Sirajul Islam have been elected as president, executive president and general secretary respectively.
Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif disclosed this at its national council held at city`s Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
The names of the other executives of the organisation will be announced Wednesday, he added.
Earlier in the morning, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the council.
The last national council of JSL was held on July 3, 2003.
