DHAKA: Noted sports commentator Abdul Hamid passed away Saturday morning at a city hospital.
Family sources said Hamid was admitted to United Hospital of the city on July 23. A tumour was revealed at his spinal cord through an operation on last week.
He was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital on Friday as his condition deteriorated.
Hamid had achieved all kinds of knowledge on sports. He was the sports editor of Amader Shomoy.
