Results of primary terminal exams Tuesday instead of Monday

DHAKA: Results of the Primary Education Terminal Examination will now be published on Tuesday instead of Monday.

Earlier on Sunday, a meeting of the National Steering Committee on Primary Education Terminal Examination had decided to publish the results Monday.

Later, the Primary and Mass Education Department through a press release informed that the results would be published Tuesday.

M Fasihullah, Deputy Director (Establishment) of the Primary and Mass Education Department, told banglanews that the date has been changed as it took time to finalise the results.

He also said the results would be handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10am Tuesday.

Later, Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr Afsarul Amin will brief the journalists at the ministry at 12 noon.

The results will be available on the website www.motme.gov.bd  and www.dte.gov.bd.

This year, a total of 24,88,148 candidates appeared for primary terminal exams.
