DHAKA: Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College Hospital has achieved people’s confidence providing modern healthcare services in an affordable cost.

The middle-lower income patients are thronging the hospital to have quality services in affordable and accessible way.

The 500-bed Bashundhara-Ad-din Hospital is committed to ensure quality medical services to the country’s middle and lower income groups.

Of the total, some 25 beds are kept reserved for lower income people and all are getting modern and standard health service at a minimum fee.

The costs of the hospital are registration fee at Tk 10, consultation with specialist doctor at Tk 20, paying bed at Tk 125, cabin at Tk 300-500, admission fee 300(day)/400(night), free food for patients, delivery at Tk 800 only, caesarian operation at Tk 4,800 with medicine and more other facilities.

There are also many other health services for child and mother at the ultra modern hospital.

Country’s top-ranking industrialist and Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan urged the government to approve this hospital as medical college.

On February 25, the 500-bed Bashundhara-Ad-din Hospital started its journey in city’s Keraniganj.

Bashundahra Group (BG), a leading business conglomerate in the country, and Ad-Din Bangladesh jointly set up the hospital.

Apart from this, Bashundhara-Ad-din Medical College and Hospital (proposed) will be implemented by Bashundhara Group and Ad-din Bangladesh.

The authorities concerned said a Policy Adviser Committee (PAC) and a Technical Adviser Committee (TAC) would be formed in implementing the project.
