DHAKA: The four-day Rehab Summer Fair-2012 kicked off at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city Thursday aiming to promote the housing sector.
Communications Minister Obaidul Quader inaugurated the fair at 10:40am.
The visitors have to pay Tk 50 as entry fee for single person and Tk 100 for multiple persons.
There are a total of 166 stalls in the fair. Of them, some 161 are developer companies and 5 building material companies in the four-day ‘Rehab Fair 2012’.
A total of 15 companies including East West Properties Development Limited are the co-sponsors of the fair.
With Rehab president Sultana Shaheda Islam in the chair, the programme was also addressed, among others, by Rehab general secretary Murad Iqbal Chowdhury, vice-president Abdur Rahim Khan, chairman of Fair Standing Committee Rabiul Haque, co-chairman Md. Jahir Ahmed, convener of Rehab Summer Fair 2012 Sayed Nazrul Islam Bidyut, chairman of press, media, printing and publication standing committee Engineer M Anisuzzaman Bhuyan Rana.
