JHENIDAH: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) abducted a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Sreenathpur Border area under Maheshpur upazila of the district on Thursday.
The victim was identified as Ziaur Rahman, son of Mosarraf Hossain, resident of Shempur village of the upazila.
Maheshpur Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) camp Habilder Lokman Hossain told banglanews that the BSF kidnapped Ziaur while he was trying to cross the zero line.
The BSF has been asked for holding a flag meeting, however, they could not respond to the invitation, Lokman added.
