DHAKA: Opposition BNP alleged that the incumbent government is trying to form an interim government under party government.
BNP leaders came up with the allegation Tuesday in a discussion on 31st death anniversary of former president Ziaur Rahman held at Engineers’ Institution Auditorium.
Addressing the function BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed said, “The government is trying to form interim government conspiringly and we will continue staging movements until declaration of neutral government publicly.”
He added: “The government must have to open the door of dialogue as public opinion has been created for it.”
The discussion was also addressed, among others, by BNP standing committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia, vice chairman Selima Rahman, Abdullah Al Noman and advisor to BNP chairperson Fazlur Rahman Patal.
