DHAKA: Opposition leader also BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia Wednesday urged the party men to unite against the government’s conspiracies.
She came up with the urge while exchanging views with the Diploma Engineers in a meeting that started around 9:15pm at her Gulshan political office and ended at 12am.
Besides, the leaders talked about different problems and present political scenario of the country.
The meeting was held as a part of the programme to create public opinion in favor of neutral election under the caretaker government.
Meanwhile, the engineers claimed that they are being harassed by frequent postings merely because of their support towards BNP.
Talking about the claim, Khaleda said, “I know everything and all the problems will be solved when BNP goes in power.”
She said, “Government is making blue prints to conspire against the caretaker government verdict. Protests are taking place in different areas of the country which will continue.”
“We have to remove our internal misunderstandings to solve the problem and then only we all will enjoy the benefits of it,” she added.
Amongst the others, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Diploma Engineers of Bangladesh Convener Engineer Muhammad Hanif, member secretary Abidur Rahman, Medical Technology of Bangladesh president Hazrat Ali were also present in the meeting.
