TANGAIL: District Detective Branch of Police (DB) Thursday arrested Abdus Sobhan, Nayeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, for his alleged crimes against humanity during 1971 Liberation War.
DB police held his from the Bangabandhu Bridge Toll Plaza around 11:45am.
Wishing anonymity a DGFI official told banglanews that he has been kept in Bangabandhu Bridge cantonment and would be taken to Kalihati for interrogation.
