MYMENSINGH: A three-day Tree Fair-2012 began on the premise of Muktagachha upazila parishad in the district Saturday.
Lawmaker Alhaj KM Khalid Babu inaugurated the fair as the chief guest while upazila chairman Advocate Badar Ahamed chaired.
Upazila Agriculture and Livestock Office jointly organized the fair.
Some 21 stalls were setup in the fair.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Meer Nahid Ahasan, upazila vice chairman Bappi Gosh, additional district livestock officer Pratima Rani Debnath, deputy director of Uddan unnan Kendra Md Iqbal, upazila agriculture officer Mahbubul Alam, upazila livestock officer Dr Rana Miah were present, among others.
