SYLHET: At least 10 people were injured in a factional clash between two groups of Chhatra League activists at MC College of the district Sunday.
Witness students said two groups BCL activists locked into a clash around 11:30am while the principal of the college entered the fresher reception programme stage organized by Physics Department, leaving 10 activists injured from both sides.
Principal Dhiren Chandra Sarkar told banglanews, “Chhatra League interrupted the programme abruptly and turned it into chaos. Later, they started the reception programme again bringing the situation under control.”
