BRAHMANBARIA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Ghulam Rahman said mentality should be changed to prevent corruption.
“It is not possible for the government or the ACC to prevent corruption, we have to change our mentality for this,” he said.
The anti-graft body boss came up with the observation on Thursday while addressing a view-exchange programme at the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office in the district.
“There is more or less corruption across the globe but it’s our moral duty to minimize the perimeter of corruption in the developing countries like Bangladesh,” he said.
Addressing the programme, the ACC boss emphasized maintaining religion belief and honesty to check the corruption.
Deputy Commissioner Nur Muhammad Majumdar presided over the programme while Superintendent of Police (SP) M Moniruzzaman, among others, addressed.
