Businessmen making unethical profit: BTC Chief

DHAKA: Bangladesh Tariff Commission (BTC) Chairman Dr M Mojibur Rahman alleged that the businessmen are making 100 percent profit in most commodities which is unethical.

He came up with the allegation while addressing a view exchange meeting held at Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) auditorium Tuesday.

Mojibur Rahman said, “The businessmen are selling daily essentials at double price of purchase which should not be allowed.”

The view exchange meeting was addressed, among others, by FBCCI president AK Azad and DCCI president Asif Ibrahim.
