DCC north unveils Tk 1,966 cr budget

DHAKA: Dhaka North City Corporation (DCC) Thursday announced Tk 1,966-crore budget for the 2012-2013 fiscal year to run the country’s one of the prime metropolis.

Of the budget, the DCC north authorities presented Tk 582 crore revised budget for last six months of the fiscal year of 2011-12.

Md. Shahjahan Ali Molla, administrator of DCC north unveiled the financial statement at Banani Community Center in the city.

For the ongoing fiscal year, the corporation has set a Tk 882.75-crore revenue-collection target.

Apart from the revenue income, Tk 1,463 crore estimated from government, private, public-private partnership (PPP) and foreign finance.

Different senior officials of DCC north including it’s Executive Officer Md. Nurul Islam were present during the time.

Dhaka City Corporation South is set to declare it’s budget at Nagar Bhavan around 3pm.

Earlier, DCC north has started it’s journey in December, 2011.
