2 die in Kushtia septic tank

KUSHTIA: Two persons were killed after breathing in toxic gases of a septic tank in Peritola village under Daulatpur upazila of the district Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Nasir Uddin, 38, son of Mojir Uddin and Hafizul Islam, 28, son of Fulchand Ali of the area.

Sources said that Nasir was suffocated in the tank when he opened it to recover his mobile which fell down in it accidentally.

Later Hafizul climbed down into the tank after not getting any response from Nasir and was also suffocated.
