DHAKA: All the examinations of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations scheduled for Tuesday under Comilla Education Board have been postponed due to BNP’s hartal in Noakhali.
The rescheduled exams will be held on May 26.
Chairman Professor Kundu Gopidas of the Board made the disclosure to banglanews Monday.
According to the previous schedule, exams for Home Economics, Technical Drawing and Workshop Practice First Paper and War Studies First Part were slated for Tuesday morning.
Also exams of Statistics, General Science and Food and Nutrition Science First Paper (Chemistry) and General Science and Food and Nutrition Science First Paper (Biology) were supposed to be held in the afternoon.
Earlier in the day, Noakhali district BNP called dawn-to-dusk hartal for Tuesday in the district as court Monday sent Noakhali-1 constituency BNP MP and party’s Joint Secretary General Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon to jail rejecting his bail plea.
