DHAKA: Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni Saturday left Dhaka for Tokyo on a seven-day official visit to attend several programmes in Japan.
The minister will attend a meeting on Afghanistan reformation on Sunday at Tokyo where US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton will present as well.
At the meeting, she will present views on behalf of Bangladesh.
Dipu will leave Tokyo for Cambodia to attend the 19th minister-level ASEAN Regional Forum on July 12, scheduled to be held at capital Phnom Penh.
Delegations from 28 countries will join the meeting.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HOR Namhong will inaugurate and preside over the conference.
She is likely to return home on July 14.
