MAGURA: A man was killed when a bus knocked him down in Kachhundi area under Magura Sadar Upazila on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Nikhil Chandra Biswas, 50.
Magura Highway Police Sub-Inspector Sarwar Hossain told banglanews that a Magura-bound bus from Faridpur of Shah Farid Paribahan knocked Nikhil down around 11:00am while he was riding on a bicycle towards Magura, leaving him injured critically.
He was rushed to Magura Sadar Hospital. Later, he was shifted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at around 4:00pm.
Police sent the body to Magura Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
