DHAKA: Additional chief engineer of Communications Ministry, also project director of Roads Network Improvement and Maintenance Project (RNIMP) Mahbubul Alam was suspended for failure to discharge his duties responsibly.
A circular of the ministry disclosed the matter Thursday.
The circular reads: “According to section 11 (1) of Communications Ministry government officials (discipline and appeal) Act- 1985 Mahbubul Alam was suspended temporarily for failing to distribute some Tk 2.31 crore compensation by June 30 among the harmed people of RNIMP-1 project.”
