DHAKA: Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, has further extended its European reach by launching its non-stop service to Lisbon from Monday.
On July 5, the airline launched flights to Barcelona in neighbouring Spain. Lisbon becomes the 125th destination in Emirates network.
Emirates will serve Lisbon with a Boeing 777-200ER offering 274 seats in a three-class configuration. EK 191 leaves Dubai at 09:15am each day and arrives in Lisbon at 02:45pm.
The return flight, EK 192 departs Lisbon at 05:55pm and gets into Dubai at 0435am the next day.
“Emirates has become the only carrier in the Middle East operating into Portugal with a daily non-stop service. It also opened trade opportunities that didn’t exist before,” said Thierry Antinori, Emirates’ Executive Vice President, Passenger Sales Worldwide.
With a fleet of 176 aircraft and already the largest Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 operator in the world, Emirates currently flies to 125 destinations in 74 countries.
Emirates presently operates 17 weekly flights to Dhaka with convenient connections to various points of it’s worldwide network.
