BHOLA: Sea robbers kidnapped five fishermen and injured 10 others as they attacked fishing trawlers on Meghna River in Charfshion upazila Wednesday evening.
Locals told banglanews they attacked the fishermen with sharp weapons and beat them up severely, leaving 10 injured.
Meanwhile, they kidnapped five fishermen and took away two fishing trawlers.
Sources said the injured were given primary treatment.
South Aicha Police Station OC Sultan Muhamud said, “The incident didn’t take place in Bhola’s boundary but it took place in Patuakhali area.”
