DHAKA: Islami Ain Bastobayan Committee Ameer and Islami Oikya Jote Chairman Mufti Fazlul Huq Amini forecast that the political situation of Bangladesh would change.
He came up with the expectation while the Olama Committee Bangladesh members met him at his Lalbagh office on Tuesday.
“People do not stand by an autocratic and oppressive leader for long period. Syria is a glaring example in this regard,” he cited.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina knows it clearly that if she restores caretaker government, she will be secluded. Thus, she dreams of coming in power again by holding election under partisan government along with some obedient parties.
He also urged the people to turn the dream of the PM into nightmare and stage movement against her.
Olama Committee Bangladesh chairman Moulana Shamsul Alam led the team comprising vice-chairman Moulana Jubayer Ahmad, Moulana Jasim Uddin, Moulana Abu Taher, secretary general Mufti Muhammad Tayeb.
