DHAKA: Fire broke out at a furniture factory at Khilbaritek in city’s Bhatara area early Saturday.
On information, seven fire fighting units rushed to the spot and trying to bring the blaze under control.
Fire service headquarter source said the fire broke out around 5:00am at a furniture showroom of Brothers Furniture. After receiving the information, two units of fire fighters from headquarter, two from Tejgaon, two from Baridhara and one unit from Kurmitola rushed to the spot.
The reason behind the origination of fire could not be known immediately.
The extent of loss from the fire is not yet to estimate.
