Where AL failed, there BNP succeeded: Hannan Shah

DHAKA: Opposition BNP standing committee member Brig Gen (Retd) ASM Hannan Shah Thursday said where Awami League is failed, there BNP is succeeded.

The senior BNP leader made the assertion at a human chain demanding the arrest and trial of the culprits behind Padma Bridge corruption organized by Barisal Jatiyatabadi Juba Forum in front of National Press Club.

Addressing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said, “Seek pardon to the people and take action against the corrupt. Otherwise, you will have to quit power on public ire.”

He said that the construction of Padma Bridge is not possible for Awami League’s corruption. BNP will construct the bridge after assuming power.

Juba Dal president Moazzem Hossain Alal, BNP’s central committee member Abu Naser Mohammad Rahmat Ullah and Juba Dal leader Md. Abul Hossain addressed at the human chain presided over by Jatiyatabadi Juba Forum advisor Faruk Ahmed.
