One held with armaments in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive, held a criminal with armaments from Dudhrajpur village under Kaliganj upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

The detainee was identified asArif Hossain, 35, member of Ghena Bahini.

RAB-6 Assistant Commander Captain Ashraf Ali told banglanews, “Acting on a tip off, RAB raided Dudhrajpur village and held Arif around 9:30pm.”
 
On the basis of the information given by the detainee, police recovered three fire arms and a round of bullet from different spots of the village.
