DHAKA : Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel picked up four suspected members of banned Islamist outfit Hizbut Tahrir from different areas in the city on Friday.
The detainees were identified as Munim, Redwan, Sohag and Abdur Rahman.
RAB-2 operation officer senior ASP Raihan said acting on a tip-off, a RAB-2 team raided city’s Elephant road and Nakhalpara areas and held the Hizb ut-Tahrir operatives while distributing leaflets in front of local mosques.”
The law enforcers also recovered leaflets, posters and Jihad books from their possession.
