DHAKA: Panasonic has recently unveiled its giant Interactive Plasma Display that allows maximum four people to write in different colors on the screen at the same time. The measures giant Interactive Plasma Display is 65 inches in size.
The previous models from other firms also brought out interactive displays but it always showed error messages when the users accidentally touched the screen with their sleeve.
The current display solved this problem. Thus when kids can write on it with a pen, while placing the other
hand on the screen without having to worry about technical issues - their resting hand will not act as a sensor.
According to company`s representative, the invention can be used for in schools and universities. In addition, it can be useful when carrying out business presentations. In case several people need to give a presentation they can use wireless connection to do it.
The digital pen developed for the system has a multipurpose button that one can use to switch to the drawing menu display. Thus there`s no need to use the toolbar on the screen.
The Interactive Plasma Display is expected to appear on the market in July. By the end of 2012 the company plans to launch larger versions measuring 85- and 103-inches.
