DHAKA: The government of Austria has invited Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni to visit the country in order to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
Foreign Ministry issued a press release in this regard on Sunday.
According to the press release, Austrian Deputy Prime Minister and the Federal Foreign Minister Micheal Spindelegger has invited his Bangladesh counterpart for a bilateral visit to Austria.
New Delhi-based Austrian Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Ferdinand Maultaschl officially handed over the invitation letter to Dipu Moni at her office on Sunday afternoon.
While receiving the invitation letter, Foreign Minister said, “Considering Vienna`s importance, particularly as being the host of a number of UN organizations, Dhaka plans to open a Resident Mission in Vienna in 2013.”
Meanwhile, she underscored the need for greater and continued interactions between the two countries, especially the business sectors and the legislators.
