NARAYANGANJ: A worker was killed when roll’s clothes got tangled up with his neck at a dying factory in Fatulla area under Narayanganj Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Raihan, 42, a dying worker.
Factory administration claimed the incident took place because of his negligence while working.
Factory manager Alam Mia told banglanews, “Raihan was injured when roll’s cloth got tangled up in his neck while working in the factory.”
“He was rushed to a hospital in Khanpur area where he succumbed to his injuries,” he added.
Officer-in-Charge of Fatulla Model Thana Abdul Matin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
