DHAKA: A total of 13 graduates of Dhaka University (DU) under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology on Wednesday received Dean’s Award for their outstanding achievement in the honors final examination.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique handed over the awards at the university’s Senate Building.
The graduates obtained 18 awards in three categories for their outstanding result in the faculty.
Dean of the faculty Professor Dr Shahida Rafiq, DU Pro-VC Professor Nasreen Ahmad, among others, addressed the programme.
Addressing the programme, DU VC urged the students to utilize their knowledge for the wellbeing of the people of the country.
