DHAKA: Notes culinary artist and nutrition expert Siddika Kabir died at a city hospital on Tuesday. He was 80.
Siddika Kabir was involved with cooking shows on television since 1965.
She was born in 1931. She started her career in teaching profession by joining mathematics department of Eden Girls’ College in 1957.
Obtaining MA in Food and Nutrition and Food Administrations from Oklahoma State University, she was also the principal of Home Economics College in Dhaka.
Siddika Kabir was also a freelance consultant for Nestle and Dano. She was, however, more popular for her famous book `Ranna Khaddya Pushti` and `Bangladesh Curry Cookbook`.
